The epidemiologic transition has caused the hospitals to focus on health promotion strategies in order to improve the health of their patients and staff. It is one of the reasons that justify institutionalizing the concept of prevention and health promotion among all hospital personnel, empowering patients and interacting with society.
It is possible to use this high capacity with lowest cost and introduce the concept of improving the health of hospitals into their organizational culture.
